Last night's final was certainly the most important event not just yesterday , but also through the whole final of the World Cup in Russia. Contrary to the expected France, as one of the main favorites of the championship, the Croatian national team deserved the final as much as France team. That is more significant for Croatian team because they Won all matches through the championship. Euphoria and pride grew with every victory of Croatian fire boys, and their modesty, effort, communion of our team and special energy of all of them, managed to awaken some of the most deepest emotions in our nation.
Although the fire boys finished their championship with a single defeat, and won the great second place, they achieved the greatest success in the history of the Croatian football team, surpassing even the legendary generation of '98.
Images of pride, happiness, contentment and communion, that went all over the world, one picture took the special place. In the town of Murter, on the island of the same name, many people gathered in honor of our fire boys at the seafront. The owners of the little boats sailed their boats in front of the sea to fire torches, and all of that, just to make an unforgettable night. The best atmosphere of that moment was captured by the video image from the air,that made all the gathered so proud and thrilld. With this happening they wanted to express their gratitude and respect to our silver boys of golden shine . Thank you!
