The beautiful baroque bell tower of the church of Sv. Frane Asiškog you will see already from the access road towards Betina. Above the center of this place, on the top of the hill, this church was located in 1601, and a recognizable belfry was built in 1752 by the sculptor Ivan Skoko. Today's church of St. Frane is a three-nave building with seven altars and the only sacral object on the island of Murter, which is under the protection of the State Institute for Culture. The interior is rich with numerous statues and paintings, of which the statues of Saint Faban and Sebastian are particularly distinguished, whose great value the restorers confirmed in 2010. This church is a testament to Betina being one of the most photographed places on the island of Murter
