The church was built by inhabitants of the Pišća settlement in 1298.

Podvrška Beach is located 2 km from the center of Murter, and it can be reached on foot, by bicycle or by car.

Everyone who finds himself in Murter, to his center, is sure to come by the road along the old waterfront.
