The land was mostly owned by noble families from Šibenik that build country houses on the island, among which is the mansion of the famous Vrančić family.

Podvrška Beach is located 2 km from the center of Murter, and it can be reached on foot, by bicycle or by car.

As with any place, especially smaller ones at sea, the squares are of great importance.
